there's been this great attraction towards the work of henry darger as of late. i've been aware of him for some time but have only recently been drawn in. maybe it's because i'd decided to learn a little more about him, some background which lent itself to intrigue and fascination. he never recieved any notice in his living life. all his work, which included a 15,000 page fantasy tome and over half a centuries worth of paintings were found by his landlord when clearing out his apartment after his passing. he had no known friends, no audience. he created for himself. find out more by checking out this site, if you'd like...
