pamela and i went to the last show of their eight nite chanakuh run at maxwells in hoboken, nj. calvin johnson opened and the feelies joined them on stage for the encore. much fun. yo la's set started with the velvet underground's 'can't stand it' and ended with one of my favorite vu songs, 'i found a reason'.
