more visitors from the left coast this week. brother ted and angie, of poketo fame, have been hanging out and taking in the new york life. lots of good eating and late nites these last coupla days. highlights so far include free friday at the moma, amayo's fuarkistra at zebulon (a lowlight was getting a whole glass of red wine spilled on me), belgian fries w/ wasabi mayo at pomme fritz, fried fish, jumbo shrimp, steamed mussels, and garlic pork at the best thai restaurant in new york city sripraphai, and a quick visit to ps 1, even more specifically the john kessler installation (amazing!). oh, i almost forgot, ted's interperative dance to the theme song from the oc was pretty darn amazing as well.
as a sidenote, isn't this the sweetest picture of eliot. her little sad eyes looking up. she stayed tucked under those blankets for a good little while. so cute!
