we had it coming. just a week ago people were talking about how wonderful the weather was. "feels like spring" and "maybe that's all the winter we're gonna get" were often heard phrases. but that was just wishful thinking. even punxsatawney phil saw this coming, a prediction made when sighting his own shadow. let the late long winter begin. i'd much rather have gone without those pleasant 50+ degree days and just gotten this chilly shit over with. but now i'm afraid winter will draw itself out, getting in the way of a much longed for spring. i think of the weather a lot, and the seasons too. i blame the cold dreary winter for this long face i wear and my rotten disposition.
it's a good thing the new belle and sebastian came out this week to help lift my spirits up.
